Charlie is a high-ranking, cynical female lawyer who believes in nothing but herself. After another winning plea, she meets with an unconventional Uber driver, Hubert. Driving her back in time from French revolution, to the Glorious Thirties and the First World War, he will confront Charlie with a lot of historical characters she would have never been able to meet.
