Violetta, a curious and cheeky fairy, gets lost in the human world after her training to become a tooth fairy goes terribly wrong. To find her way back to the fairy world, she teams up with the human girl Maxie, who feels completely out of place as she moves from the countryside to the city with her mother. Together they must save the green oasis of the city to help Violetta discover her destiny.
