From Oscar-nominated director Erick Oh and 9-time Emmy Award-winning Baobab Studios, Namoo is a narrative poem come to life through hand-crafted animation. Inspired by the passing of the director's grandfather, Namoo-which translates to "tree" in Korean-follows the journey of an artist beginning with his birth. As a young man, he falls in love with painting, and as an adult, he falls in love with another person. Life is full of ups and downs and we are constantly searching for answers, but we sometimes lose the things that matter most while pursuing what we believe them to be, without the hard-earned wisdom. As we follow the man's footsteps to his last moment, we explore -- and embrace -- he journey of life.
