Hairdresser Joy Miller (Fran Drescher) has the experience of a lifetime when she is hired as tutor to the children of widowed dictator Boris Pochenko (Timothy Dalton). Pochenko believes Joy to be a science teacher, while Joy thinks she is being employed as a beautician. However, Joy is soon charming the gruff Pochenko with her resourcefulness, and it seems that love might be in the air.
