Set in 18th century Germany, Will and Jake Grimm travel about as snake-oil salesmen convincing towns they're haunted and getting rid of the demons for a price. They write down their tales and create offbeat characters, but then they're caught and sent to a village to solve the disappearance of a number of young girls.
